Senator Isakson explains how government will run with tax cuts
WASHINGTON, D.C.-- Wednesday Georgia U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson talked with WGXA News about tax reform.
Middle Georgia viewer Josh Strock emailed WGXA his question for lawmakers.
He wanted to know, "How did the federal government operate without all the money taxpayers will save through tax cuts?"
Isakson answered, "Ideally in a perfect world if you do the right thing when you reform the tax code and reduce the rate of taxation you increase the rate of revenue because businesses are more productive and people spend more and invest money and that in turn puts more revenue back to the government".
January 17th we are scheduled to interview Rep. Austin Scott. If you would like to have your question answered, send an email with your name, city, and question to email@example.com.
