$20,000 reward offered for information in Baldwin County Murder
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga -- Thursday morning it was announced that a reward up to in the amount of $20,000 is now being offered for any information leading to an arrest or conviction of a suspect in the October shooting death of Veronique Reaves.
Captain Brad King of the Baldwin County Sheriff's office confirmed the reward following a post on the agency's Facebook page.
Reaves was shot while driving north on Hwy. 212 just before 2 a.m. on Oct. 20. Investigators say she called 911 to report that she had been shot by someone traveling behind her.
She later died at the hospital from her injuries.
Investigators are actively examining evidence and cooperating with the GBI and the FBI.
