Annual Art Healthy Festival helps promote active lifestyle
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. --The Fourth Annual Art Healthy Festival kicked off at Georgia College Saturday afternoon. The goal of the festival is to fight obesity and promote an active lifestyle.
The festival featured bouncy houses, exercise classes and health screenings.
The friendly event attracted people from all over Middle Georgia.
Katherine and Emily Coin from Warner Robins say they enjoyed the fitness classes and love to stay active at home.
"I go to the trampoline at my house and I usually play there at least 10 minutes before homework," said Emily Coin.
The annual event was first inspired by the Let's Move initiative developed by First Lady Michelle Obama.
