BSO: Driver kicks victim in face in road rage incident
MACON, Ga. -- The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating an aggravated assault that put one victim in the emergency room.
A report from the sheriff's office says that on Friday, a driver was traveling southbound on Broadway near the Seven Bridges area when a silver Honda Civic pulled up behind him.
The driver reported that he tried to get out of the Honda's way by making several lane changes, but said that the male driver became increasingly aggressive and that a female in the passenger's seat waved a wrench at him out of her window.
The victim was traveling down Houston Rd. searching for a spot to turn into, while the Honda continued to follow him. He reported that he pulled into a parking lot in the 5000 block of Houston Rd. and the Honda pulled up behind him.
The victim attempted to leave the lot but the driver of the Honda pinned his car against the back corner of the victim's vehicle. The victim reported that the driver of the Honda then got out of his car, ran up to the victim's door and pulled him out of his vehicle.
The report says that the suspect threw the victim to the ground and kicked him in the face, requiring the victim to get a total of eight stitches and leaving him with a fractured nose and a fractured wrist.
The driver of the Honda was reported to be a white male between the ages of 29-31.
