DOC captures inmate who left Forsyth work detail last week

Cobb was captured in Decatur on Friday afternoon / Georgia Department of Corrections 

DECATUR, Ga. -- The inmate who walked away from his work detail last Thursday was captured Friday evening.

Georgia Department of Corrections Fugitive Agents apprehended Keyshawn Cobb, 19, in Decatur around 5:30 p.m.

Cobb left his work detail at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center campus in Forsyth around 6:45 a.m. on Aug. 17.

Cobb is one of the 38 inmates in Georgia who have escaped or walked off work details this year, according to DOC officials.
