MACON, Ga. -- Macon's first electronic recycling facility is set to open in a week.

Equip Exports LLC takes old electronic devices like computers and wipes all personal data off and can re-purpose them.

Owner Rishi Balani said depending on the type of device, you could get money back. He said anyone is welcome to turn in e-waste.

"Everyone uses technology, so we are not just limited to just any one organization, it's everyone," Balani said.

He also said they're looking to hire local people who work at the company.
