Local artist transforms Macon bridge

Adam Crawford and other artists spent all day Saturday painting the Otis Redding Memorial bridge along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Eric Mock/WGXA

MACON, GA--If you're walking down Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard you'll probably notice the sidewalk looking a little more colorful than usual.

It's part of a temporary art installation from the Macon Arts Alliance called the "East to West Art Walk."

The Alliance commissioned student artist Adam Crawford, attending Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, to paint the bridge.
