Longtime Bleckley Co. clothing store begins going-out-of-business sale
COCHRAN, Ga. -- Cochran is losing one of its oldest family-owned businesses.
Lyles opened in Bleckley County back in 1934. And according to the customers and community, it's one of the most impactful businesses.
The well-known clothing store has been celebrating its legacy, bringing its doors to a close with a grand celebration.
Leigh Anne Lyles-Fisher, daughter of the owner Jodi Lyles, says it’s time to close their doors for good.
"We didn't go in preparing to go out of business -- my dad just got to this point," she said. "We have a huge inventory here -- we have lots of things that are great sales -- so anybody that would like to come in and stop by, we would love the visit and sell you some clothes."
Lyles is located at 127 NE 2nd St.
