Motorcyclist seriously injured after hitting stalled vehicle
MACON, Ga. -- A motorcyclist is in serious condition at a Macon hospital after he struck a stalled vehicle Tuesday.
According to Lt. Randy Gonzalez with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle "shut off" in the center lane of I-75 South near Hardeman Avenue.
A man, 57 year-old Joseph Hughes, was traveling on a motorcycle in the same lane. He ran into the back of the vehicle and was was ejected from the motorcycle.
He's listed in critical condition at the Medical Center Navicent Health. The others involved in the accident were not injured.
