Second arrest made in Patton Avenue homicide
MACON, Ga. -- On Wednesday, deputies arrested a second person believed to be involved in the murder of a Macon woman over the weekend.
Twenty-four-year-old Antwan Sherrod Lamar was charged with murder and aggravated assault around 2 p.m. Wednesday in connection to the death of 26-year-old Talshia Taylor.
According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, during the investigation it was discovered that Lamar was involved in Taylor's death.
Taylor was shot and killed on Sept. 9 just before 4 a.m. outside of 808 Patton Ave.
Tequila Renee Brown, 25, was arrested the same day and charged with murder and aggravated assault. She is accused of pulling out a gun at a party and firing multiple shots.
At least one of the gunshots struck Taylor. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff's office said that Lamar knows both Taylor and Brown.
