Severe storms possible Thursday
MACON, Ga. - Thursday's weather system will bring rain and storms to Middle Georgia. Some storms could be strong to severe.
An organized outbreak of severe weather is not expected. Not everyone will see severe weather. But some stronger, possibly severe, storms cannot be ruled out.
Our hour-by-hour timeline shows our rain and storm potential going up after lunchtime and lasting through 8 p.m.
The biggest concern with Thursday's storm threat will be damaging wind gusts. Strong winds combined with soggy soil could down a few trees. The tornado threat is not zero but it's low.
