Teen recovering after being shot multiple times in Macon
MACON, Ga -- A male teenager was shot Thursday morning at a home on Delano Drive in Macon.
Lieutenant Randy Gonzalez at the Bibb County Sheriff's Office said just after 1:30 a.m. deputies arrived to the home and found the 17 year-old with multiple gunshot wounds.
It was reported that the teenager was playing a video game when he heard a door being kicked in. He then ran to a bedroom in the house to hide in a closet.
The intruder busted into the bedroom and fired multiple shots striking the teenager.
He was taken to the Medical Center Navicent Health where he is in stable condition at this time.
No suspect(s) have been named at this time.
