Three arrested after allegedly robbing a gas station clerk at gun point
BUTTS COUNTY, Ga. -- Three people have been arrested in connection to the armed robbery of a Butts County gas station.
According to the Butts County Sheriff's Office, 18-year-olds Isaiah Watson of High Falls, Jakob Trent Naulta of High Falls and Nichols Caleb Faulkner of Barnesville were all arrested Wednesday night.
The three are accused of entering a gas station on Highway 36 and Halls Bridge Road Tuesday night, brandishing a weapon and forcing the clerk to hand over money from the register.
In a post on Facebook, Butts County Sheriff Gary Long said he wanted to "personally thank the citizens that poured information into my Criminal Investigation Division that helped make these arrests possible."
"You, the Citizens, have spoken and sent a loud message, we will not tolerate criminals coming into our community and victimizing the good people of this county," Long wrote.
Long also thanked his investigators and deputies.
