1 dead, 2 injured after shooting in south Macon

MACON, Ga. -- The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that happened on Ibex Street around 1 a.m. Sunday morning.

Bibb County Sheriff's Office states that there was an argument that broke out at a party when an unknown person pulled out a firearm.

Three separate people were shot, and the victims were taken to Navicent Health for treatment. Monterrius Dugger was pronounced dead at the hospital from a gunshot wound to the chest.

Ramone Smith and Jessica Fullwood were also shot, but they are considered in stable condition at this time.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing. The incident is currently under investigation by the Bibb County Sheriff's Office.
