Vidalia homicide suspect, 19, turns self in, charged with murder
ACWORTH, Ga. -- The man wanted for a May 10 homicide in Vidalia turned himself in and is in custody.
Vidalia Police say Malique Rheem Harrington turned himself in to Acworth Georgia Police Department on Tuesday. He's charged with the murder of 21-year-old Jerry Lee Clark, Jr. that occurred on May 10.
Harrington will be transferred to the Toombs County Detention Center.
Police were called to the Raymonia apartments on Easter Dr. just after 1 a.m. on May 10 for shots fired. Upon arrival, they found Clark lying on the ground with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the chest. He was later pronounced dead at Meadows Hospital.
