The Warner Robins Police Department has various events scheduled for Police Week 2017 starting May 13th./(WGXA)

WARNER ROBINS, Ga-- The Warner Robins Police Department has various events scheduled for Police Week 2017 starting May 13th.

Below is a list of events taking place:

Saturday, May 13, 2017:

Back The Blue Glow Run

  • 8:00 p.m. Opening Ceremony
  • 9:00 p.m. Race begins.
  • The east bound lanes on Watson Blvd from Davis Drive to Hwy 247 will be closed. Armed Forces Blvd to Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd will be closed and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd to Davis Dr. will be closed during the race.

Monday, May 15, 2017:

Fallen Officers Candlelight Vigil

  • 7:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church.
  • This event is free and open to the public.
  • The community is encouraged to attend.

Tuesday, May 16, 2017:

Law Enforcement Bowling Tournament

  • 10:00 a.m. at Gold Cup Bowling Center.

LEO Spouses Night Peer Support Team Presentation

  • 6:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church.
  • Only open to LEO families.

Wednesday, May 17, 2017:

Coffee with a Cop

  • 8:00 a.m. at Greek Village Restaurant on Watson Boulevard.

Law Enforcement Bass Fishing Tournament from Safelight

  • 3:00 p.m. at Lake Sinclair

Thursday, May 18th, 2017:

#PrayForPolice

  • 12:00 p.m. at Warner Robins Police Law Enforcement Center.
  • This event is free and open to the public.
  • The community is encouraged to attend.

Friday, May 19th, 2017:

Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

  • 6:30 a.m. at the Houston County Courthouse.
  • Route will travel north on Houston Lake Road then east on Watson Boulevard ending at the Warner Robins Law Enforcement Center.

BBQ for Blue

  • 11:30 a.m. at the Farmhouse at McCullough Funeral Home
