Woman pleads guilty, sentenced to life for 2014 Warner Robins murder
HOUSTON COUNTY, Ga. -- A judge sentenced a woman life in prison after she pleaded guilty to the 2014 murder of Monnie Brabham on Friday.
Tianna Danet Maynard, 33, entered a guilty plea for felony murder and violation of the Street Gang Terrorism Prevention Act.
Maynard will serve a life sentenced with the possibility of parole for murder and 10 years in prison for the gang charge. Those 10 years will be served concurrently.
Brabham was shot and killed in January 2014 at the Murphy Oil Station at 501 Booth Road in Warner Robins. LaJerrius Barfield was also shot in the incident.
A release from District Attorney George Hartwig states that the murder was ordered by Bloods gang leader Kelvin Melton, who was serving a life sentence in North Carolina at the the time.
Deondary Darnell Yarn was convicted for his role in the murder and shooting on Thursday.
