Mitchell County prison inmates captured after manhunt
Georgia Department of Corrections says that inmates McArdle and Hooks are back in custody Friday morning.
The Georgia Department of Corrections Apprehension Unit captured the inmates without incident in Slocomb, Alabama.
Two Mitchell State Prison inmates are on the run after walking away from from an outside trash detail in Camilla.
Officials with the Georgia Department of Corrections say they are looking for Justin Mcardle and Michael Hooks.
Hooks is 47 years old, stands 5'8", weighs 179 pounds, has brown eyes, brown hair and was serving time on a theft by taking charge out of Dodge County.
Mcardle is 39-years-old, stands 5'8", weighs 145 pounds, has green eys, brown hair and was serving time on two forgery charges out of Muscogee County.
Both were last seen wearing white state-issued trousers and a lime green shirt.
Officials say do not approach them if you see the men, but contact 911.
