Jake Fromm enters game at QB for UGA vs. Appalachian State

ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia starting quarterback Jacob Eason injured his left knee late hit out of bounds and was forced to leave the game in the first quarter versus Appalachian State. ESPN reported his return is uncertain at this point.

True freshman quarterback and Houston County High School alum Jake Fromm enters the game for Eason in his first career game. Fromm threw his first career touchdown pass, a 34-yard strike to Javon Wims, in the second quarter to put Georgia on top 14-0.
