Mercer Baseball drops series finale to Kansas State

Mercer drops first series on the year/(A.J. Good WGXA)

The Mercer Baseball team dropped its first series on the season on Sunday afternoon. The Bears fell on the road to Kansas State 13-6. The loss drops the Bears to 12-5 overall.

CJ Burks took the loss today for Mercer. He went 4 innings giving up 9 hits and 6 earned runs. RJ Yeager went 2-4 with 2 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

Up next, the Bears will host Georgia Southern on Wednesday at 6 pm.
