Winning streak ends at 9 for Gordon College

A nine-game winning streak came to an end for Gordon State College Baseball Saturday afternoon with a split against West Georgia Technical College in Barnesville.

After falling behind 2-0 in the second inning, the Highlanders were unable to mount a comeback dropping Game 1 5-3.

Gordon College returned strong in the second game of the twin bill with a 12-2 win over the Golden Knights.

The Highlanders (14-12, 3-1) return to action Tuesday at home against ABAC.
