JEFFERSONVILLE, GA -- Nearly two weeks after former Twiggs County Head Coach Ashley Harden took the same job at Northeast, the Cobras found their replacement.

Tuesday the school board approved the hire of Zackery Harris as the program's sixth head coach in the last 17 years.

Harris last coached at Hancock Central in 2015 where he led the Bulldogs to the postseason in 2012.

Twiggs County finished the season 8-4 in 2016 under Harden winning their first-round playoff game 46-7 over Marion County.
