Phillips, Owens pace Warner Robins past Westside

MACON, Ga. --Nelson Phillips poured in a game-high 36 points while Jacolbey Owens added 33 as #1 Warner Robins (5A) rolled #5 Westside (3A) 89-63 Tuesday night at Westside.

The Demons overcame a slow start falling behind 25-12 in the first quarter. Westside's Khavon Moore scored 14 of his team-high 34 points in the early frame.

Warner Robins clawed back into the game with big threes from Owens and Phillips grabbing a four-point lead at the break.

Warner Robins travels to Perry Friday night while Westside returns to action next Tuesday at Warner Robins.

The Demonttes earned a tough 57-50 win over Westside in the first game of the doubleheader.
