SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The First Presbyterian Day girl's soccer team is back to take care of unfinished business in the GHSA state playoffs. After falling to Wesleyan in last year's championship, the Lady Vikings are returning to the state title game after beating Calvary Day 5-0 in the semifinals.

Juniors Karsten Herron and Jansyn Samples led the way on offense for FPD with two goals apiece. They each scored once in the first half and once in the second half. Sadie Frame added a goal of her own in the second half.

FPD remains perfect this season, improving to 21-0. This was goal keeper Caylee Ann Sutton's fourth straight shutout in the net.

The Lady Vikings will face Athens Academy on Saturday for the GHSA A classification state championship. Kick off is at 12:00 p.m. at Mercer's Five Star Stadium.
