Jatavious Harris picks Louisville over Pitt
MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. -- Baldwin High School wide receiver Jatavious Harris kept everyone guessing until the last minute about who he was going to commit to between Louisville and Pittsburgh.
"I had everybody shocked," said Harris after putting on a red "L" hat for Louisville on Tuesday morning.
Harris said that he didn't know which school he was going to choose until Monday night, making a pros and cons list for each school before finally deciding that he was going to become a Cardinal.
"It came down to relationship really I felt more comfortable at Louisville," said Harris. "So, I went with my first instinct."
Harris is a four-star recruit at wide receiver according to ESPN.com. At 6'2", Harris dominated in a Braves uniform, being named to the All-Region team three out of his four years.
The wide out fetched more than 30 scholarship offers and was committed to Tennessee earlier in the year. However, Harris de-committed from the Vols and re-opened his recruitment.
Harris will sign with Louisville on Tuesday and join the team for the spring semester. Harris, a star on the track as well, plans on running track for the Cardinals during his sophomore year.
