FORSYTH, Ga. -- There was no score kept, but that wasn't the important part. Football has (somewhat) returned to middle Georgia. The Mary Persons Bulldogs and the Washington County Golden Hawks took to Dan Pittman Stadium.

It will be an interesting season for the Bulldogs as they try to replace the big holes left by UGA signee and defensive end Malik Herring, and running back Zach Harvey.

Mary Persons starts their season on August 17 against Lee County while WACO starts theirs August 25 at Jones County.
