MACON, GA -- After a rocky three-game losing streak, Lorne Tucker's Perry Panthers gave themselves some breathing room in the region playoff picture with a 14-2 win over Howard Tuesday evening in Macon.

The Panthers pulled away with a five-run third inning sparked by a two-out rally from Christian Valdivia.

Perry swept the series on the week against the Huskies. Perry (12-15, 7-7) will face Veterans Saturday afternoon in the regular season finale.
