WARNER ROBINS, GA -- Spoon Risper knew it would be a tall task replacing Savion "Smoke" Knowlton at quarterback.

The head coach found his new gunslinger Friday night as Westside rolled Veterans 35-21 at Freedom Field behind the arm of sophomore Victor Dixon.

The Seminoles jumped out a 21-0 lead with a variety of formations and tempo changes. Dixon shined for the Noles tossing three first-half touchdowns, all highlight worthy.

Westside opens the season Aug. 18 against Howard. Veterans opens the season at Freedom Field the same night against Northgate.
