MACON, GA -- Former Southwest basketball star Sharone Wright is a big believer in the Macon High School hoops scene.

Making his annual return to Macon, the former NBA standout hosted two different camps at Central Georgia Tech with former high school teammate and current Titans Head Coach Reco Dawson.

Prior to hosting a youth hoops camp, Wright and Dawson teamed up for the Adidas Elite Skills 100 Camp inviting the top players in the area to showcase their skills in front of college coaches and scouts. The purpose of the camp was to educate prospects on recruiting, the dangers of social media, and fundamentals expected of them at the next level.

Wright sat down with WGXA talking about the camps, the upcoming basketball season and even shares his opinion on controversial basketball figure LaVar Ball.
