MACON, GA -- Fifty-three hockey games have come and gone for the Macon Mayhem.

With two games remaining on the regular season schedule, the Blue Sweaters stand one win away from wrapping up home ice throughout the SPHL playoffs. That wasn't the focus however after Thursday's morning skate.

"We're not thinking about it too much," said Mayhem Right Winger Mark Rivera. "We're not putting much pressure on it. We feel confident that we have the group to get that done along with the playoffs."

This time a year ago, the Blue Sweaters were signing a different tune fighting for the 8th and final playoff spot. This season, a deep roster and chemistry positioned the Mayhem in a favorable spot down the stretch.

"Our strength is definitely our depth," Rivera said. "Once we have all lines moving and all lines cycling on other teams we're going to make it hard on them for the rest of the year."

Friday night the Mayhem welcome in Roanoke for a two-game series that will warp up the regular season with a 7:35 puck drop.
