Falcons bring Moms Football Clinic to Macon
Just a day before the NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons made their way to Macon not for a game or to coach, but rather to educate.
The Falcons teamed up with the non-profit group Kids & Pros to bring their Moms Football Clinic to Howard High School Wednesday night.
Training sessions were taught to mothers who have children considering playing tackle football.
Sessions included equipment fitting, concussion awareness, proper tackling technique and even on-field drills.
The goal of the Falcons isn't to force mothers to let their kids play football, but rather give them the proper information about the sport.
