Georgia Doom falls in home opener
The Georgia Doom's first season back in Macon didn't get off to a great start. The Doom fell to the Atlanta Havoc 81-56 on Saturday night from the Centreplex. They are now 0-1 on the season, the Havoc improves to 2-0.
The Havoc got off to a 20-0 start in the 1st quarter with 2 touchdowns coming off a interception and a fumble. The Doom recovered quickly off of 3 touchdown passes and a running score from quarterback Luke Collins to cut the lead to 37-27 at the half. However, the Havoc turned it on the second half outscoring the Doom
Up next, Georgia will host the Peach State Cats on March 20 at 7:35 pm.
