New England completes epic comeback to win Super Bowl LI

James White scored from two yards out on the opening possession of overtime capping the largest comeback in Super Bowl history as the New England Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons 34-28 Sunday night in Houston.

White scored three touchdowns including the game-winner in the extra session as the Patriots erased a 25-point second-half deficit to earn their fifth world championship.

Patriots' QB Tom Brady threw for 466 yards and two touchdowns becoming the first quarterback to win five Super Bowls.

NFL MVP Matt Ryan completed 17 of 23 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns.

The Falcons are still without a world championship.
