Toomsboro, Ga--Pittsburgh Steelers' Linebacker Bud Dupree earned quite a homecoming reception Saturday afternoon.

The Wilkinson County alum received the key to the town of Toomsboro and was honored with the unveiling of Bud Dupree Drive downtown.

"It means a lot," Dupree said. "It's always great to have support. I'm just so happy to say I'm from Wilkinson County."

Friends, family, and local residents packed outside city hall as the linebacker cut the ribbon on the street he grew up on. Dupree says the speed limit will be 48 mph in reference to his jersey number with the Steelers.

Dupree is currently entering his third season with Pittsburgh. Last year he returned from a groin injury late in the season and was key in the black and gold's run to the AFC Championship.

In 10 games, Dupree was tied for the team lead with five sacks while recording 24 tackles and one forced fumble.
