Jennifer Munoz joined the WGXA news team in November 2016 as a Multimedia Journalist/Reporter.
Jennifer was raised in the small town of La Plata, Maryland. Growing up she learned to speak Spanish from her parents, who are originally from Mexico.
She graduated from the Phillip Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland with a degree in broadcast journalism and government and politics. While at Maryland, Jennifer reported and anchored for CNS-TV. She covered stories on variety of topics that included state politics, immigration and the environment.
Before joining the WGXA News team, Jennifer interned at the ABC affiliate WJLA in Washington D.C. and on the assignments desk at CNN in their Washington D.C. Bureau.
Jennifer loves exploring new places and food and, of course, cheering on the Maryland Terrapins.
She is thrilled to explore everything Macon has to offer.
