Mason Prince joined the WGXA team in January as a Sports MMJ/Anchor Friday through Tuesday.
Mason is from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and is excited to be a part of the WGXA family.
Mason graduated from the University of Oklahoma in December of 2015, after receiving his Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
While at the University of Oklahoma, Mason was the beat leader for the football and men's basketball teams. Mason also hosted a show called Sooner Sports Pad, which aired weekly on the Fox Sports Networks. When he was a Junior, Mason helped create a show called GamedayU, which was a pregame show that aired live from every OU football game at home and on the road. He was also a Sports Anchor for the student newscast, OU Nightly.
When home in Tulsa, Mason worked for 1430 AM The Buzz, where he was a sideline analyst for Jenks High School Football.
Being from Oklahoma, Mason is a huge football fan. Even though he graduated from OU, his real loyalties lie with the Arkansas Razorbacks. Mason is also a fan of the Miami Dolphins, Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics. Although Mason is often confused with Andy Dalton of the Cincinnati Bengals, there is no relation.
In his spare time, Mason likes to spend time with his family and catch up on his favorite TV shows.
Mason is happy to be here in Macon and can't wait to start covering sports!
