WASHINGTON (TND) — Former President Donald Trump said he has a "big announcement" to make Nov. 15 from Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
He was speaking at a rally in Dayton, Ohio, while campaigning for Republican U.S. Senate candidate J.D. Vance at the Dayton International Airport Monday night.
Trump ran down a list of things he thought were wrong about the country since he left office.
Many of the talking points were about the state of the nation’s economy, inflation, gas prices and overall about President Joe Biden’s record since the Republican president lost the election in 2020.
Trump claimed to “win two times in a row,” resurrecting false claims he actually won the election in 2020 and it had been stolen from him.
Toward the end of the rally, Trump read a list of names that voters should choose on Election Day. He called it the “most important midterm election in the history of the United States.”
The rumor before Monday night’s rally was Trump was going to announce his candidacy for president in 2024, but he hinted Tuesday’s election was the more important issue and repeated he didn’t want to “detract” from the big midterm elections Nov. 8.
