3rd Commercial Armed Robbery in Macon on the morning of the 4th of July
MACON, Ga -- Just after 6:30 a.m. a call went out for a commercial armed robbery at the Exxon Gas Station on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon.
In a release from the Sheriff's office a male and female suspect entered the store and went to the gaming room. The female came out of the room and told the clerk the games were acting up.
When the clerk came to the room the male suspect pulled out a hand gun and demanded the clerk into the room.
The male suspect then retrieved an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and left the scene walking towards Dent Street.
The female suspect left a few minutes after the male suspect in a 2006 blue Honda Civic, missing two front hubcaps also, headed in the direction of Dent Street.
Also according to the Sheriff's Office the same two suspects are believe to be the perpetrators that made the attempted armed robbery, that took place at the Citgo gas station, located on Rocky Creek Rd, and also the Waffle House armed robbery that took place earlier this morning on Riverside Drive.
No one was injured during this incident.
DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECTS:
The male suspect was described as a black male around 5 feet 7 tall and weighed between 145 to 210 lbs.
The suspect was wearing a white “V-neck” styled shirt, blue jeans, and he had on a blue colored “skull cap” on his head."
The female suspect was described as a black female at approximately 5 ft 6 inches in height weighs around 180 to 215 lbs.
She was wearing a black in color, “Air Jordan” t- shirt (white “air Jordan” design, blue jean shorts, and a white and black colored hat, with a white and gray brim. There was possibly a sports emblem on the front of the hat.
DESCRIPTION OF VEHICLE:
The vehicle was described as a dark blue colored 2006 Honda Civic.
The vehicle had tinted windows and it was missing both front hub caps.
The tag displayed on the vehicle is PWJ2007."
