MACON, Ga. (WGXA) -- An arrest has been made in connection to the September 2022 shooting death of Jermaine Stewart, who was working as a security guard at Rodeo Bar and Grill.
Deputies say that Stewart was shot after a fight had broken out and multiple people were asked to leave. That's when the shots rang out, hitting Stewart in the head.

An arrest warrant states that witnesses told investigators a then-unknown suspect got into his vehicle and fired several shots at the business while workers were still inside.
34-year-old Geraldo Laurama of Warner Robins was arrested by Monroe County Deputies during a traffic stop. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says that they were contacted by the Monroe County Sheriff's Office and Laurama was transported to Macon.
Laurama is currently being held without bond on charges of murder, aggravated assault, and probation violation.
