Deputies arrest 2 teens for murder of Macon 18-year-old

MACON, Ga. -- Bibb County deputies arrested two men in connection to the Sunday homicide of 18-year-old DaKwaun Tyre Faulks.

A sheriff's release says one 17-year-old and 18-year-old Dawan Jasentay Daniels, Jr. were taken into custody on Monday.

According to the release, witnesses told deputies that Daniels and Faulks got into a fight with the 17-year-old suspect when the fatal incident happened. The teens reportedly exchanged gunfire and Faulks was fatally shot.

Deputies say they're still investigating the events that led up to the fatal shooting.

Daniels was arrested on the charge of murder, was also served a separate bench warrant from the state and is being held without bond at the Bibb County jail, the release says.
