Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Entering Auto Suspects


MACON, Ga. - Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested two juvenile suspects for auto theft.

The Sheriff's Office responded to a call on Sunday morning, just before 1:30 a.m. in the Southfork Dr. area.

When deputies arrived several suspects took off running.

One of the suspects, a 16 year old, was caught after a brief foot chase and detained for questioning.

The second 17-year-old male, was caught attempting to get back into a stolen car that was used by the suspects.

The second male was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigative Division to be interviewed.

During the interview with the second suspect, it was discovered that he and the 16 year old Juvenile, entered multiple vehicles in the area.

Two additional suspects ran off into the woods and were not found.

The 17-year-old was charged with Entering Auto, theft by receiving auto, obstruction of peace officer, possession of firearm during commission of felony, possession of pistol by person under 18 years old and carrying a concealed weapon.

The 16-year-old was charged with entering auto and transported to Macon Regional Youth Developmental Center.
