Bibb deputies arrest man wanted for several outstanding warrants
MACON, Ga. --Deputies arrested a man Saturday in Macon who was wanted for several outstanding warrants.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Forestt Paten Mander is being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Complex without bond.
Deputies say they had been after he ran from officers a couple of weeks ago.
Deputies noticed Mander around 8:30 a.m. Saturday traveling through the Ingleside area.
"Mander attempted to conceal his identity by pulling a baseball cap over his face," Bibb County Sheriff's Office says. "Deputies were not fooled and stopped Mander as he pulled into the parking lot of 334 Vista Circle."
Deputies then apprehended Mander as a tried to run into a nearby woods.
Mander had warrants for the charges:
- Financial Transaction Card Fraud (7 counts)
- Financial Card Theft (3 counts)
- Theft by Taking-felony
- Entering Auto
- Battery Family Violence
- he also has a Superior Court- felony- Probation hold.
Deputies say investigators are looking through recent cases in the Ingleside neighborhood to see if Mander may have been involved in any of those incidents.
