Big changes in alcohol sales approved for the city of Forsyth
FORSYTH, Ga. -- On the heels of Macon-Bibb welcoming its own Sunday brunch bill comes similar changes for more Middle Georgians.
Forsyth council members approved an amendment to the city's beverage code on Monday that now permits the sale of alcohol from 11 a.m. to midnight on Sundays.
These rounds of approval for earlier Sunday alcohol sales come after the Georgia General Assembly approved those changes statewide this year.
Another downtown Forsyth business will also be able to sell alcohol to its customers after city leaders approved the application for alcohol sales for the Pickled Okra.
