UPDATE: Cause of Warner Robins house fire under investigation

UPDATE: Lee Brantley with the Warner Robins Fire Department, said officials got a call about a kitchen fire.

Brantley said three units responded to the scene at first and saw heavy fire in the kitchen and garage, before the flames spread to the home's attic and roof.

Everyone made it out of the home safely and no injuries to the occupants or firefighters were reported, Brantley said.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Brantley added that it appears the house can be repaired.


WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -- Fire officials are battling a house fire in the 200 block of Windsor Dr. in Warner Robins.

The occupants appear to have made it out safely.

Neighbors said they heard what they believed sounded like an explosion.
