WARNER ROBINS, Ga. -- Warner Robins police confirmed Houston Medical Center went on lock down late Thursday night after taking in a gunshot victim.

That's according to Jennier Parson with the police department, who said that is "standard protocol" when someone with a gunshot wound arrives at the facility.

Parson said the victim took themselves to the hospital and police don't yet know where the shooting happened.

Authorities said that until they figure out where the victim was shot, their car becomes the crime scene.

According to Parson, the shooting didn't happen in the hospital's parking lot.
