Fifteen-year-old shot at west Macon apartment complex, in critical condition
UPDATE: The victim of the shooting is 15 years old. She is listed in critical condition as of Monday evening.
MACON, Ga. -- A young woman was shot in a west Macon apartment Tuesday afternoon.
According to Sgt. Linda Howard with the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, the victim appears to be a teenage girl, but her exact age is unknown.
The shooting occurred around 4 p.m. at Blossom Hill Apartments at 4006 Mercer University Dr. Howard said she was taken to Navicent Health. Her condition is unknown.
A man and a baby were also inside the apartment at the time of the shooting.
It's currently unknown if the wound was self-inflicted or not.
