MACON, Ga. -- Authorities responded to a house fire in Macon on Friday afternoon.
According to Captain Brad Beasley with the Macon-Bibb Fire Department, around 12-15 first repsonders arrived at 5623 Charles Drive in reference to a house fire around 2:40 p.m.
Beasley said it appears that the fire began in the garage. Because of the fire department's quick response, the fire didn't spread into the home. No on was injured according to Beasley.
Firefighters will stay on site for the next few hours to look for hot spots.
