MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. -- On Friday hundreds got to hit the dance floor for a night to remember.

Night to Shine, an event which is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and held across the US, was hosted at Northridge Christian Church in Milledgeville.

Hundreds of volunteers from Georgia College, Northridge Church and the Baldwin Life Enrichment Center, worked hard to make prom night as memorable as they could for those with disabilities.

Over a hundred special needs guests were partnered with a buddy for the night, and participants had the chance to get their hair and makeup done, as well as get a shoeshine.

When they were ready to attend the dance, everyone got a limousine ride around the church before walking down a red carpet lined with volunteers cheering them into the prom.

Activities included karaoke, dancing, a superhero-themed photo booth and lots of food.

Near the end of the dance, a king and queen were crowned as Night to Shine royalty.
