CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ga. -- Two victims perished in a house fire in Crawford County Thursday morning.

The blaze consumed a home on Hwy. 341 South.

Sheriff Lewis Walker states the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office got a call about the fire and entrapment just after 8 AM.

The fire happened at a home along the 2000 block of the highway, between Cactus Hill Rd. and Horne Rd.

The victims were identified as 99-year-old Missouri Graddick and 84-year-old Johnny Wellons.

Fire Chief Randall Pate said they had "a lot of agencies involved doing their part, so we're going to be out here for a while."

Officials couldn't speak to the victims' relationship with one another.

The Crawford County Sheriff's Office responded to assist with traffic.
