MACON, Ga. -- Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an overnight armed robbery in west Macon after a store employee was robbed at gunpoint early Tuesday.

Deputies say it happened just after 3 a.m. outside the Serena Wholesale grocery store, located in the 3800 block of Eisenhower Parkway.

It was reported that two victims, Raul Dastellano Nistail, 32, and Enoch Larorre Raver, 31, of Macon had just parked in the parking lot when a man walked up behind Nistail and struck him in the back of the head.

The man then reportedly pulled out a gun and yelled “Where is the money.” Investigators say he pulled Raver out of the vehicle, threw him to the ground and took off running with a bag of money, a cell phone and the keys to the vehicle.

The unknown man was seen on foot headed towards Bloomfield Drive.

Both victims were taken to the Medical Center at Navicent Health and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
